I removed Earthlink's TotalAccess, which also removes their anti-spyware product as well. However, it made no difference; it looks like I'll have to do as you have suggested below and reinstall VFP 8.0.

Well, at least there is hope, right?

At one time I was installing some different spyware removal tools and scanning with Norton, etc. Somehow, the spyware removal tools had identified some of the vfp files as spyware and that created a problem.
