Hi Kevin.

I'd appreciate it if you would send me details.. the Project is a fairly basic Add.Amend Delete type app with a few reporting requirements on a max of 3 Table Database.

VFP6-7-8-9
Even though I have not used Dot Net, I have actaully purchased VStudio.Net and then VS 2003.net (I think the Upgrade was called)
It seemed to me that there was'nt a great deal of Innovation there either (I know you will correct me if I'm wrong) but surely you could use this argument about any upgrade..... If the extra bits they put in the upgrade are not relevant to me, I will dismiss it as being of no use and subjectively say the earlier version, had say 80% of the current version)

Regards,

Gerard

>Yes, there were nice enhancements along the way - some would argue that they should have been put into the product much earlier in the timeline. But John is correct, the 'core' of product really hasn't changed significantly since VFP6.
