Sorry to take you seriously if that was not your intent.

You just happened to make jokes about one of the traps I see here. I find the average age of VFP developers to be higher then Java/.Net developers. I believe that's one of the reasons for people here trying to hang onto VFP as long as possible.

I read an article not too long ago about the pitfalls of the IT industry. It was even published back in the heyday (5 yrs ago). Early burnout was listed as one of the pitfalls, with many older folks (in their 30's) talking about their lack of free time due to the amount of out-side-of-work studying they needed to do to keep up.

As John mentioned to you, unfortunately you are trying to joke about something that has raised the cackles of many.
