Hi,
After reading the other threads, it looks like you broke rule no.1 - Don,t let the kids browse the internet on a production machine.
The damage a child can do in a matter of minutes is truly amazing.
The best thing to do with XP is set a restore point, which I do on all my clients home machines, it saves days of lost production trying to figure out what they have done.
>The two machines are separate. The ENTER key problem is on a Windows XP machine and the VFP hanging problem is on a Windows 2000 server, which I use as a workstation. I don't think that VFP is running as a service. I run it from a shortcut on the desktop.

>>>This has nothing to do with any forms or programs; it's just the FoxPro desktop itself doesn't close. Windows 2000 Server. I can type QUIT or Select the Exit menu item and it is always the same response, it hangs indfenitely every time.
