1) Will depend on Cost
Maybe for small users VFP or MSDE (Up to 10)
For large users Maybe SQL or VFP

But it really depends on Speed/Cost or other parameters that I am not even aware of if Dot Net introduces some limiting factors

2) Hardware
This would be no different than what we currently run VFP apps on
Xp...200server / 2003 server

It shoud'nt matter what the spec is.. all I'm trying to guage is a comparison of Dot Net Vs VFP , in your experience.
