Folks,

There were known bugs involving stretching memo fields and group footers in various versions of the product. The bugs have to do with the determination of when andif the group footer needs to be pushed to the next page (IOW, how much room is needed) as well as "what record number am I on when I get there".

Scott's specific problem in this report was (I am pretty sure) resolved in VFP 8.

Other aspects of the same scenario were resolved in 9. The additional fixes in 9 related to this scenario should be good whether you're doing new or old style (REPORTB 80 or 90) reporting.
