>Replacing this experience quickly, on a grand scale, and halfway across the world is a fool's endeavor. That being said, I'm sure some companies will try it, and I'm equally sure a few of them will succeed. But knowing the corporate world, most heads of business take a "wait and see" attitude, and I don't think most will like what they see.

Not in coding, but you can see a very obvious example of this when Dell decided to outsource their non-business customer support overseas. They first tried it with the business side also, but there were so many complaints that they changed it. I have had someone I know give up trying to buy a system on-line as there were so many communication problems that he decided that if this is how difficult it was to just buy something, imagine what the support would be like if there was a problem with anything. I used to love Dell. Now I think they blow.
