PC with OS XP Pro:
I am trying to create a writable CD using Roxio software. The CD is of RW type. Roxio detects the CD and I can start Full format. But after the format is done, the CD is not recognized by the system. When I insert this CD next time into the PC, XP does not recognize it. I can't copy files there. I can go to Roxio start formatting again, but still, at the end, not writable CD.

I do the same with the same version of Roxio software on Win2000 PC and all works well. When I insert the CD after formatting is done on Win2000, the system sees it as drive F: and I can easily copy files there.

Is there a setting or "something" I have to set on XP to make it work?

Thank you.
