People,

There is a certain individual who periodically frequents the VFP forum of UT just to crap on magazine staff and to denigrate persons who continue to feel strongly about the utility/benefits of VFP.

Recently this certain individual gloated in announcing to us all that another member was no longer a part of the UT. I harbour no doubt the this certain individual ensured that the owner of the UT was personally aware of a couple of messages by the banished person.

This certain individual continues to troll, aiming to push yet more people into banishment.

This certain individual's "contribution" in the VFP forum is strictly limited to bombastic claims regarding:
1) there being only 1 "future" - .NET all the way;
2) VFP being dead, save for the official announcement;
3) 5 years old "contributions" to "the community" making him impervious to criticism;
4) a CV that is far far superior to anyone else's here making him impervious to mis-judgement;
5) superlative intelligence by virtue of some letters after his name making him impervious to error;
6) such fearsome skills as a debater that all others wilt after a couple of "exchanges";
7) other fluff important only in his own mind but important because "I tell it like it is" and "I must be right for so many people to be upset".

This individual does have a track record, having been banished once already here and having been "voted off the island" in yet another VFP-centric online forum.

This individual's gloating at the recent demise of the other member opens the door to something that most of us find distasteful - censorship of this individual's messages in this forum or banishment from this forum of the UT.

If any of you know of such an individual I strongly suggest that you consider requesting the management of the UT to disable that individual's access to the VFP forum of the UT or to remove before they appear any messages written by the individual that relate to any of the seven items listed above.

Thank you for reading
Jim Nelson
