No, I don't think Outlook will prevent you to enter a duplicate number in any field. This would either have to tracked somehow. If you were to create your Contacts through VFP and sent to Outlook and you are using VFP8.0 you could use the autoincrement fields, or if you are in VFP7.0 that are easy ways to use the next available number.
