You and I are on the same page here, Tracey.
But one thing **WE** ("the people" according to your Constitution) have to get rid of is this notion of "good business sense"!
Since when is it good business sense to drain your workers (here) of first salary, then benefits, then layoffs, then force extra hours then closure to relocate to China?????

Since when is it good business sense for the main employer in a town to relocate to China, stopping any municipal and state (and Federal) income cold from both the company and the workers?

Since when is it good business sense to have your governments no longer able to afford services (no more income to support them) so they disappear or fall into disrepair (water, roads, sewers, etc).

When all the jobs have been relocated and there are only McJobs left here where will be the market for all these good that these corporations are so busy making through slave labour overseas?? People will be working 3 jobs each to meet their obligations and those who find no work will be forced to join the military or government make-work projects a-la-post-depression era.
