Using VF5 I have a form with its own DE containing related tables, and a page frame.
On the pageframe I have a textbox used to search the main table. There are also a few other textboxes, navigation buttons, and two child-table grids.

When the datasession property of the form is set to the current (default), the form works perfectly in all respects.

However, when the datasession property of the form is set to Private (& buffering pessimistic), and a search string is entered in the textbox, the child grids are not refreshed. All other textboxes on the page are refreshed, just not the two grids.
Some of the textboxes on the page also belong to the same table as the grids, and they refresh correctly.
If I click anywhere on the page, then only do the grids refresh.

When my navigation buttons are used, the grids do refresh correctly.

Whilst running the form, if I go up to the std foxpro menu Window, Datasession, and I change from the current default (blank) datasession to the forms active datasession (full of files), then go back onto the form, the form works perfectly as it should.

Also, if a drag a grid from the Primary table onto the page and run the form, then all of the grids refresh correctly. If I remove this primary table grid from the page, the other child grids again do not refresh.

Can anyone help with this strange problem?
