VFP8 tries to evaluate the caption if it starts with an equal sign (=). Some times this is a good thing, like caption=date(), but sometimes this causes an error. To fix, add a space before the equal sign (' ='). For obvious reason this only causes a problem if you set the caption in the property sheet, not if you set it programmatically.
