The difference is in how much information Word is paying attention to in the current printer setup (that you set up in Word) versus the Windows defaults, I think.
VFP actually has, like Word, three levels of printer setup information it can pay attention to: Windows default, the default page setup information you set up in VFP, and what you saved to the FRX. The interactions are not easy to predict.
All I can tell you (at least quickly <s>) is that the way VFP interrogates the current environment for printing information, versus the stuff saved in the FRX, is quite different in 9. Also that we pay more attention to the stuff you've specified for the printer *generally* more closely in 9.
If you want to try this in the beta and have some questions, I'll do my best to explain, but you'll have to tell all those things: what's Windows default for various things, what's setup in VFP, what's in the FRX.
