Except that in religious wars, you don't find out if you're right until you die! < s >.

Fortunately, in programming, we get to test (and reconsider) our premises with in a more (speedily) iterative fashion with smaller consequences < bg > I've often thought this is the reason why so many of my favorite programmers have strong backgrounds in philosphy and theology.
