Why don't you disable Update for "Sensitive messages"?

>Recently, we have found a pattern some isolated individuals are doing with the Universal Thread. The feature of updating a message is great and allows members to fix typos, layout and such. However, we have discovered that some are using that feature to remove vulgarities, treats, insults, personal attacks and other related topics form their message as soon as they discover that the message has been marked sensitive.

There is an option for that in the account setup. It is also something we can use as a tool from the administration purposes for various reasons. I don't think other benefits could be used from that.
