Ensure every "grid.columnX.controlsource=" a valid field within your tables. Once I changed a field name and the same behavior happened. Fixing the column.controlsource that referenced the now non - existant field solved the problem. Never recieved any error messages when it was running or anything just a "dead grid" with no records!
