I develop applications using VB5 in conjunction with Windows 2000, and use audio files for user instructions and feedback. The command .Command = "prev" which works fine with Windows 95, 98 and 2000 doesn't work consistently with xp. A file is played only on alternate occasions. Putting in that line of code twice sometimes works, but sometimes doesn't, so the file is played once sometimes and twice other times. Any bright suggestions about how to deal with the problem?
