Interesting thread, I must have missed it when it was first posted. I would have guessed DataViews to be slower, though from what you reported, it looks like they should only be used when necessary.

I've never benchmarked a FIND versus other ways - I would *guess* that you'd have to have a large # of rows before you'd notice FIND being much faster - maybe that'll be my lunchtime exercise. ;)
