ROFL. I know what you mean. For some reason, I never had occasion to get on a ferris wheel when I was a kid, so I tried it a few years ago. I froze up. I've ridden the Texas Cyclone and most other tough rides at Six Flags, climbed towers over 200 feet high, and had no problems with either, but the ferris wheel had my number. What evil mind invented this innocent looking contraption that can make grown men cry? Needless to say, I was happy when the ride was over. On the other hand, my little schoolgirl daughter, who was riding with me, was perfectly ok. Go figure. <g>
