OK, I went in and deleted the Foxuser.dbf and .fpt file and it made a difference with my interface particulary with the debugger.

I have everything pretty well set back where I like it but the problem persists i.e. when the debugger comes up with a problem, I am able to exit from the debugger but the screen with the problem becomes frozen. I get one shot at Program | Cancel then it disables. Also File | Close disables.

One thing I have found is that if I make my screen Closable, then I am able to Shut It Down with the X in the upper right.

But if I make all my screens Closable then I have to put all my close code (under the [Done] or [OK] buttons) into a Method and include it in the Query Unload method.

In VFP 6.0 the same screens can be shut down without problem after I exit from the debugger.

I have been through a long thread on the benefits Intellisense but if I have to reboot VFP 8.0 every 5 min its not worth it. I sent my screens to MS over 6 months ago and they agreed there was a bug that was causing my problem.

My beef is that it is not seen as a priority to fix it.
