Hi,
The OEM W2K installs just the same as the retail version. Just boot from the CD (you have to set the BOOT sequence in the CMOS) you should be able to delete any old partitions, if not download delpart.exe and delete them prior to the install, also unless you have the requirement to have a DOS style partition for a particular application's compatiblity issues format the partitions NTFS as it is faster and has greater stability.

>Cool. I realized that the XPP CD that I have is the full retail version, but the W2KP is one of those Install-only-on-a-new-PC ones. It's the one that came with the box, so should it boot up the same as the retail version would? I think I may put XP on one box and reinstall W2K on the original one.

If I get that to work, am I able to partition/format the drive and create extended partitions and logical drives from the CD before I install the OS?
