That's true regardless of the solution you choose.

Personally it is no headache, as I work with software that had to be installed at many clients. There simply is not any reason for them to change the database structure without us validating and making a new build. This is really a 5 minute job.

But of course if you attach much value to beeing able to change the view definitions, it is another matter.
