I've played with the idea of attending myself, but I still haven't gotten that "Fox is Magic" video from the 2002 GLGLW out of my head. Watching that was a very traumatic experience for me, and now I can't attend ANY conference without being constantly distracted by the fear that the speaker will start singing.
