I hope, if I live to be 90, that I die at my keyboard still programming in VFP:)

>Good for you Dale! I feel younger since I am 62! One must respect ones elders they tell me. My mom (who will be 90 in November) says, "Age before beauty"!

>>Seeing as I'm the "gramps" he was addressing......I took no offense regarding this comment.
>>
>>I was playing a little game with him, because I believe he has been doing the same thing to us VFPers for years. He didn't like us disagreeing with the authoritarian super being that he seems to think he is.

>>I, for one, appreciate the way Michel and his team manage this site. I've been coming here for eight years, and thanks to my peers, have always been able to find answers to my technical questions.

>>Lists such as this one can and have been destroyed by egotistical know-it-alls that just don't know when to shutup. One list I've been a member of, also for eight years, came close to destruction for the same reason. A number of Doctors were volunteering their time answering questions. A few people were continually attacking the Doctors and their opinions. The Doctors split from that list and set up their own "moderated" list. Still free and easily accessible.

>>Some folks don't seem to appreciate "seniors" offering their opinions. Well, there are a couple things in life that all men can count on....1) If you live long enough, YOU WILL GET OLD; 2) If you live long enough, YOU WILL GET PROSTATE CANCER.
>>
>>Why did I throw the second item in?? Because, whatever your age, subtract 10 and that will tell you the odds you already have it.
>>
>>I thought I was too young at the age of 55, 10 years ago........guess what?? I'm a 10 year survivor that has good people on a well managed list to thank for educating me.
>>
>>Just trying to put things in the proper perspective.

>>>For instance....does a statement like "Bring it on gramps" constitute a personal attack ?
