thank you. We use VFP COM objects in highly concurrent web-environment, where ADO sometime causes unpredictable results, memory leaks and significant performance overhead. The utility you suggested uses ADO, and therefore we could not rely on it. The VFP SQL pass-through proved to be the only reliable technology, and we could not add any additonal layers because of stability considertaions.

So, I was a bit disappointed to find out that VFP SQLPassthrough could not natively use SQL Server OLEDB, but after all - it is not a big deal. The ODBC works great too. I just wanted to try the OLEDB as an option.
