Thanks Borislav that is what I ended up doing. Seems like a good enhancement opportunity for the Visual FoxPro team to accept any length string!

VFP has another limit:
The command string cannot exceed the 8192 characters lenght.
Then you cannot send large memos like a inline literal.
Try to uses the parameters online:

"UPDATE ..... =?Me.TextBox1.Text ... "
