The READWRITE clause was introduced in a later version of VFP - version 7 perhaps? I think you are still using an older version.
For the older versions, there is a solution, I don't remember exactly, but it was something like
use dbf("Cursor_Name") again in 0"The idea is that VFP creates a temporary table for its cursors, and you can access this table.
