My oldest brother was dx'd with it when I was 50, and suggested I get a PSA blood test. (he was 67 at the time)
I believed it was an "old man" disease and ignored his advice for five years, because I was so young.
Once I was tested and dx'd, the Doctor said I'd had it for probably 10 years. I could've been cured if I had been tested earlier. Apparently, if a brother, father or uncle has/had it, our odds arn't very good.
So much for hindsight.
Stay on top of it, and Good Luck.
