I am all for constructive debate regarding VFP in this forum, but not destructive. BTW there are a lot of good enhancements in VFP9.

As others have said, and I will summarise "We have looked at .Net and it doesn't suit our requirements as yet", may be it will with subsequent revisions, and with a lot of Longhorn's proposed enhancements being chopped I personally have put it on the backburner for the time being.

I am sorry the ".Net is better VFP" doesn't wash with me, yet.

Also there is an old saying "Empty Vessels make a lot of noise", boy your friend makes a lota noise.
