Can't disagree with regard to Scaling and Security. So, is it a better answer? Given that Mike was asking about performance and not Scaling or Security, I'd have to conclude only a little, though I think Mike is in a better position to answer your question. If Mike qualified his question by stating that his concern was performance under enormous load, then your answer would be just dazzling.
