If you'd ask me the problem of the corruption is due to their incapability to solve network problems. The problem you describe is not common in Windows networks nor well configure Novell networks.

Of course this does not help you one bit on the original problem.

I never use DELETE TAG as it automatically removes any relation between two tables which might be harmfull when you make changes in your RI (if you use RI at all).

The strategy I use is to make a copy of all CDXs when the tables are empty and store them into a seperate folder. When an index becomes corrupt copy the empty CDX over the corrupted one and issue a reindex on that table.
