first, thanks to all the guys who tried to help with this thread.

the code is a bit long because i tried to convert it from vb. the vb version works fine. but the c# version is the one with the problem. the application is an object builder for applying 3 tier to a database application. it will automatically create codes and stored procedures when you supply a MS SQL database. if you'd like to see the whole app, i'd be more than happy to send it to you.
