Could be Megabytes with many hundereds of Users or at the other end; Terabytes with only a handful of Users. Degree of User activity is also important in determining 'enormous load' - you could have 50,000 Users (like the UT) but if 95% of them only visit the site once a year - that hardly constitutes 'enormous load'.
Given that the original question is yours - the onus is on you to supply context, clarification and to qualify your terms.
