>My given christian name is Nelson John Johengen. Some people call me Jay, JJ, Jo-Jo, Nels-John, Nelly, Jaybird and even Renoir depending on at what point in my life I met them. Renoir Vandalet is a business name I have used in the past and, as you well know, used on UT until JVP brought it to your attention. I am Jay Johengen; in my employment, to my friends; in regards to business, and even here at UT. Gosh, Michel, why do you ask? Is that verified enough for you?
Jay,
What anyone uses as an on-line name is their business. If you prefer to be known as Renoir Vandalet, that's fine.
The problem here is that you weren't using it to hide behind like "Joe Bob" did. So what's the problem? I think people (including Michel) have lost sight of that.
BTW, my only "alias" is SouthSideSlim (at
www.countryjoe.com) on the crisis message board there.
