My goal is to have the SAMPLE Northwind files installed for the MSDE 2000.

In the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\SDK\v1.1\Samples\Setup directory; I am running ConfigSamples.exe.

After running the EXE - I get a message that says that it installed successful - but when I check the log I find:

Could not detect NetSDK instance of SQL Server. Databases will not be installed.

And thethe Northwind.mdf and Northwind.ldf files are not found in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data directory.

I have the following installed:
VS.NET 2003
Microsoft NET Framework 1.1
Microsoft NET Freamwork SDK(English) 1.1
Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine

Any Suggestions Would be appreciated.
