Hi,
Just some more info required, was the drive booting in this machine previously or are you trying to install it now. Old bios sometimes don't like the newer large drives, if not look at the partition to see what exists, is it set to be bootable, was unix installed on it previously, try FDISK /MBR to reset the Main Boot record.

If think it looks more like the motherboard isn't compatible with the drive.
