No amount of upgrade will change this. While it is annoying there is some benefit, it allows you to scroll blank lines into the bottom of a code edit window.

Mostly if you click above or below the thumb things work as expected. If you expect to mousedown on the thumb and move to the right place via thumb motion you have to live with the jump.

The DocumentView in later versions does allow you to more easily jump around.

>VFP 6.0 SP2. In the project manager, when I am viewing code for a form, the horizontal scroll bar moves when I try to click on it to scroll. This has been going on for years, and now it has finally gotten to me. Everytime I try to scroll just a little, when I go to click on the scroll bar it just up about 15 lines. Very bothersome. Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution other than upgrade?
