I've asked a couple of times (to the persons that should've been qualified for that evaluation) for a comparison between VFP and other development languages. I've also asked to know where VFP is going (short term versus long term plan. I have'nt been lucky yet. No answers.

It appears it can't be compared to .Net also. We've seen places offering to go from VFP to .Net. But none offering to go from .Net to VFP

So if VFP can't really be compared to other development languages how could it be qualified as "Dynamic" or "Static".

VFP has been declared dead many times. But it's still here. Or maybe that's only what we think.

Perhaps it should have its own category. How does Zombie looks like?

Perhaps we (VFP community) are in denial mode. VFP has been declared dead and we did'nt get the news. Perhaps I was out that day. I don't know for the rest of you guys. what we're using now is something that is back from the dead.

That's why so many persons seems to feel uncomfortable when speaking about it. They don't want to insult us by telling it like it is.
