Someone can tell me how to obtain the version of a .xls file (XLS, XL5 or XL8) with Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls)} and the adodb.connection.

I can't use adodb.application.


I want to know this because I use the IMPORT command and if the file is XL5 I can't use the sheet parameter.
