I think he's been in "to answer or not to answer, that is the question" routine a bit too often lately. Can't expect him to react to our liking each time. It's bad both ways - if he answers as tersely as he did, it'll annoy half of the people. Same if he doesn't answer, or if he's not terse. These three halves probably overlap some, though. Who can please the world?
