Thank you for this helpful tip. By adding _screen.visible=.T. in the appApplication.vcx (just before the "DO FORM myform.scx" statement) it enabled the form to show up.
Before adding this statement it worked fine in developement, but when installed on a user workstation nothing happened when you clicked on the desktop Icon.
The UT is certainly a wonderful place where programmers share knowledge with each other.
