Hi DotNetters!!!

Good afternoon! Just curious about SQL scripts (*.SQL). Basically they are just text files, but I was surprised that when I double click on it, the file opens up in .NET!!! And .NET formats the codes properly. I am curious as to why this is so? Does it mean we can write SQL scripts on the .NET environment and execute them from their?

I need knowledge on this please :-)
