Have you considered the lack of response to your "constructive thread" as an indicator?

I, for one, don't need any extra rules or policing of the UT. Bad language or conduct doesn't bother me. I have the Thread and Twit filters at my disposal. I have Search capabilities if I really think I have missed something. I don't need or want another Big Brother, thanks.

And quite frankly, there is just to much there to swallow without a lot of study, which I imagine not a lot of others have. The followups you have received, with the excessive quoting, have made the thread near unreadable. You might try a more bite size approach...
