Excessive quoting bothers a whole lot of people, it seems.

Seems to me that one way to alleviate some of this would be to allow an option in the 'View all messages in this thread' feature to REMOVE QUOTED TEXT from the display. The fact of removal could be noted, along with a auto-link to the actual message so that anyone who wanted could click on that to see the entire message.

Since the feature currently offers an option at the bottom to 'view thread in simple format' a second option could be added to ''view thread in simple format - quoted text removed'.

Optionally, a set-up option could be made to 'control' the displayed text (with/without quoted text) for the initail click on the option.
