Thank you for your suggestion. I gave the suggestion a try but to no avail. I think there isn't anything wrong with the class library that comes with Visual Promatrix. I tried many ways including uninstalling VFP and reinstalling it and change to default class supplied with VFP. George Tasker approach of importing the .bmp file through PC Paint though is workable, is cumbersome in that I'd tosave the .bmp image into the clipboard and imported it the ole before saving. I tried to append general in command mode and still got error # 1426.
For your information, the .bmp files I tried to appe general from are scanned images.
Any suggestion ?
