I suppose you could run the report once, and then while it is being printed, show a messagebox that says "The report has XX pages."....or if it is so the user doesn't lose pages of the report, print "END OF REPORT" on the last page...

That way they know they don't have the entire report unless they have the page with END OF REPORT printed and every page in between that and 1...

Or, if you can know the number of detail lines on each page and total number of detail lines, you could just divide it before the report...but sometimes the number of details lines printed will depend on the printer to some degree (I think)...
