Thanks, Chris. June was also kind enough to respond and I'll look for an older thread on this topic. I have considered changing to a combobox to see if it would behave better. Curiously, after I have saved a primary record, the second view is synchronized with the primary view and will display correctly as I move through the primary view. My business object contains both views; I build an index on the secondary view and SET RELATION from primary to secondary table in the postinithook of DE Methods. I've tinkered with the requery settings on the Properties tab without getting better results.
