I have just purchased visual foxpro 8 upgrade edition. When running the setup the first stage is to check for any prerequisites that need to be installed. One of them is the Microsoft SOAP Toolkit. When installing I get error at the end stating that it failed to install. In the troubleshooting guide it states that you can install them seperately to see more detail on what the problem is.

Therefore I browsed to the CD \WCU\SOAP3\soapsdk.msi to install it seperately. At the end of the installation I get an error dialog box with the following statement:

'There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A Program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor'

Does anybody know what the problem is and how I can resolve this?
