Okay, I've seen a lot of these type of threads but none seems to match my stitation ... none that I've seen anyway. All of the threads I've seen deal with a situation where someone is using x = createobject("form") type syntax.

In my case, I'm doing:

do form frmBrow name ('frm'+m.prog) with m.prog, m.parm2

Where m.prog is the name of the program to which this form is tied. (Our controls on the form are data driven. The Init of the form looks up the program in the table and loops through all the controls placing them on the form.)

Anyhow, the form launches, goes through the init code and immediately closes down. I'm wondering if it has to do with "naming" the form. Any ideas on what might be happening. FYI, the screen is our top level form.
